FIA is a social impact enterprise that provides tools, training and services to connect women to their strongest self. FIA introduces social discernment-the ability to spot coded language and behavior that precedes manipulation. Our assessment and AI enabled training tools guide users to protect their blind spot so they can feel bold and powerful in new and high pressure environments.
In a society that bombards us with subtle and overt messages about lacking; we provides personalized insight and actionable practice to shift women’s ability to see and respond to behavior that could lead to harm. Women’s energy and labor fuels the world. Isn’t it time that we can harness it to protect ourselves and our community in a measurable way?
Our Story
We’re Erika Pajovic and Lauren Nignon, and we know what it’s like to feel blindsided by social dynamics. Whether it’s navigating confusing relationships or trying to understand why things suddenly fall apart, we’ve been there, wondering, “What just happened?”
As neurodivergent women, we spent years reading hundreds of self-help books, trying to figure out why things never seemed to improve. We always felt like we were missing something crucial. It took us a while to realize we weren’t flawed—we were simply missing the right tools.
After gathering a wealth of knowledge, we discovered that what we had been lacking all along were practical, teachable skills—skills that could fill the social gaps that no book seemed to address. We want to help others who feel like they've tried everything but still don’t have the answers. It’s the ability to recognize subtle cues, understand hidden dynamics, and predict the social forces at play. Once we learned how to spot these, the world became much more predictable. We could finally understand the “why” behind things that used to leave us feeling blindsided.
Now, we’re creating the tools we wish had been available when we were figuring it out. Our mission is to make Social Discernment accessible to everyone—so you don’t have to go through life feeling like you’re always playing catch-up.
